Goldman Sachs Shares Close at Record Highs, 2007 All-Time High Unbroken

Goldman Sachs shares closed at an all-time high today of $249.46 (+1.3%), taking out the previous all-time high close of $249.92, printed on October 31, 2007. While GS shares may have printed a record closing price on Tuesday, the all-time highs from 2007($250.70) still stand.

During today’s trading session, GS shares traded as high as $250.00 - only 71 cents away from hitting a new record.

Shares of the investment bank have been in a bull market since Election Day. Since Nov. 9, 2016, GS shares have gained close to 37 percent.

Yesterday’s confirmation of former Goldmanite Steve Mnuchin, who was the top fund-raiser to President Trump during his campaign, to the post of Treasury Secretary by a vote of 53 to 47, added even more fuel to the GS rally.
